A Letter From the Editor: This is a Reminder that the World is a Vast and Mysterious Place

This is a reminder that the world is a vast and mysterious place, full of opportunities and challenges waiting to be discovered. But I had an epiphany last night after hanging up with a friend. Escaping from issues can be an easy way out but making it fun and not so serious is really what keeps us in line. We all hold the key to what we need, but it is up to us to find it. This realization hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday as I sat down to reflect on my experiences in an escape room with my family.

If you’ve never done an escape room you are missing out. The escape room was a thrilling and intense experience, much like life itself. It required us to think critically, work together, and solve complex puzzles in order to unlock the door and escape. As I poured my thoughts and emotions onto paper last night, I realized that there are three key elements that make a significant difference in navigating through life: having a journal, a reliable soundboard to vent to, and an open mind.

In a world that can often feel overwhelming and draining, it is crucial to have an outlet for our thoughts and emotions. Keeping a journal allows us to express ourselves freely, without fear of judgment or criticism. It serves as a safe space to unload our burdens and reflect on our experiences, helping us gain clarity and perspective on our lives.

Having a reliable soundboard to vent to is equally important. Whether it be a trusted friend, family member, or therapist, having someone to confide in can provide much-needed support and validation. Venting our frustrations and fears to someone who listens without judgment can be incredibly cathartic and empowering.

But perhaps the most crucial element in navigating through life is having an open mind. In a world that is constantly changing and evolving, it is essential to approach life with curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow. By embracing new experiences, ideas, and perspectives, we can expand our horizons and unlock new possibilities for ourselves.

Life can be challenging and unpredictable, but by realizing that there is a key that will unlock the door to our new world, we can stay focused and hold on to what we have. For me, prayer is a powerful tool that helps me stay grounded and maintain my sanity in the midst of life's chaos. Finding peace within ourselves is the most exciting and rewarding journey we can embark on.

I may not be a runner, but I am a fighter. I know what I want, and I am willing to wait for the right moment to open the door to my dreams. I am ready to face whatever challenges come my way, knowing that the key to my success lies within me. The world holds the key to what we need, and I am determined to find it.
