It Can be Disheartening When the People Around You Do Not Support Your Goals and Dreams

It can be disheartening when the people around you do not support your goals and dreams. It can feel like a betrayal, especially when you expect those closest to you to be your biggest cheerleaders. However, it is important to look at this lack of support from a different perspective.

When people do not support you, it may actually be a sign that what you are doing has the potential to be successful. Those who support you may do so out of love and loyalty, but they may also do so because they do not see your vision as a threat. They may believe that what you are doing is safe and comfortable, and therefore, they are willing to support you in that.

On the other hand, when people stop supporting you, it may be because they are starting to see the potential in what you are doing. They may be realizing that you are onto something big, and they do not want to miss out on the opportunity to learn from you and potentially benefit from your success.

In a way, this lack of support can be a good thing. It means that the gates are opening up for strangers to walk in – people who may not know you personally, but who see the value in what you are doing and are willing to support you in your journey.

It is important to remember that success often breeds jealousy and competition. Just like a quiet toddler is often up to no good, people who are quiet and observant around you may be secretly plotting to imitate your success once it takes off. They may be watching you closely, waiting for the right moment to swoop in and take advantage of your hard work and innovation.

This is why it is said to keep your enemies closer than your friends. Your enemies may be the ones who are truly paying attention to what you are doing and who may be the ones to try to sabotage your success. It is important to be aware of this dynamic and to protect yourself and your ideas from those who may try to take advantage of you.

Do not be upset when people do not support you. Instead, see it as a sign that you are onto something big and that your success is just around the corner. Keep pushing forward, keep innovating, and keep believing in yourself. The support will come from those who truly see your potential and who want to see you succeed.
