I always believed in patience. Not perfection. Patience is your teacher. Social media is just a mask, it can fog your creativity with likes and dislikes. I advise you to continue doing what you are doing, the world needs your first draft.
Did you ever notice that the ones that may not like your work, overlook your work or disconnect are the ones that are most threatened by you and all the things that you CAN do and contribute to the world? When you begin to focus on yourself and what you are here to do, you will begin to shine brighter.
If you wait long enough, you will see who is for you and who is not for you. You will never have to wonder or pretend. Patience is a cure. It helps you to understand your purpose. As long as you're willing to wait, create and LIVE.
"Motivation is what explains why people or animals initiate, continue or terminate a certain behavior at a particular time. Motivational states are commonly understood as forces acting within the agent that create a disposition to engage in goal-directed behavior."
To be self-motivated is YOUR currency to YOUR success. In the past, I've met so many people and never took the time out to see them for who they truly are. The biggest mistake a person could ever make is to give someone your heart before you learn theirs. 💯 When loving, and even caring for someone, humans tend to jump in first when they feel that this must be it. This must be my BIG break. This must be what I've been waiting for my entire life.
The problem is, they never give themselves the space or time for their mind to catch up to what is actually happening at that moment. What looks like it is materializing in front of their eyes can be a facade. Eyes can be blinded by emotion instead of truth. The truth is EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE has a motive. Your job is to find out what the motive is. It can go either way. It can be bad or good.
When I was in my early 20s, my mother shared a song with me. I was dating a young man that I adored. Mother's see through all the BULL the moment they meet a person. I believe mother's have X-ray vision when it comes to relationships and decision-making. Especially when you're dating their kid.
The song entitled “Take time to know him” changed my life. I later used that advice and ended up with a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. I even use it in my business life. Furthermore, I strongly suggest that everyone should step back and put things out there to see if someone is truly willing to work with you and NOT for you. You get to see where their heart truly is. It has been working for me and saves many unwanted headaches and time.
